SHRIMP & CORN FILE` SOUP

Ingredients:

6 or 8 EARS OF FRESH CORN CUT FROM THE COB

2 POUNDS OF FRESH SHRIMP PEELED & DIVINED

1 LARGE CHOPPED ONION

½ BUNCH OF GREEN ONIONS

1 LARGE BELL PEPPER

1 STICK CELERY, CHOPPED

3/4 STICK MARGARINE

SALT AND PEPPER

1 TABLESPOON UNCLE BILL’S CREOLE FILE` OR ADD MORE TO YOUR CONSISTENCY ]

Cooking Instructions:

PEEL AND CLEAN SHRIMP, SAUTÉ ONION AND BELL PEPPER UNTIL WILTED, ADD CELERY AND SHRIMP, MARGARINE AND GREEN ONIONS (SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE). FILL POT HALFWAY WITH WATER ADD FILE` ABOUT HALFWAY OF COOKING. SIMMER FOR ABOUT 45 MINUTES TO AN HOUR. SERVE IN SOUP BOWL.
